Modern technology and qualified employees allow products with excellent quality characteristics. As specialists in this branch, we can already process the fresh products in the slaughterhouses and transport them by means of a cleverly devised system, using special refrigerated vehicles, to the central plant in Wietmarschen-Füchtenfeld. On arrival, the products will go for further processing. All processes are subject to constant monitoring.

In accordance with the highest hygiene standards and the fulfilment of the most stringent international certification requirements, all products are handled in detailed optimised work processes to manufacture the natural casings and by-products which our customers value.

In co-operation with the French pharmaceutical company Sanofi, the associate company CKW Pharma-Extrakt GmbH & Co. KG in Nordhorn uses raw materials resulted from production for pharmaceutical research and manufacture. The active ingredients required for the process of health promotion optimise the use of existing raw materials and minimise unusable raw materials, taking into consideration a high quality standard.

Due to this valuable co-operation with one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, vital drugs such as heparin are produced. The active ingredient is mainly used for therapeutic treatment for blood clots or to treat pulmonary embolisms before and after surgery. This drug is also used to treat contusions, sprains, sporting injuries and varicose veins.

Profound knowledge and long-standing relationships with customers and suppliers of the respective subsidiaries have made the Danish company, founded in 1893, grow to become one of the world’s market leaders in the production and sale of hog casings. With 20 companies in 14 different countries, the DAT-Schaub Group employs around 2,000 people and is also an active partner in two Chinese joint ventures with around 1,800 employees.

DIF Organveredlung Gerhard Küpers GmbH & Co. KG has been part of the DAT-Schaub Group since 2004, and it is also an integral part of the of the commodity chain in the globally operating company.
